Camp Cove is at Watson’s Bay, right up near South Head, so the beach offers stunning views of the Harbour stretching all the way to the city. Given its location, it is no surprise the diving and snorkelling here is great, and some rate it as their favourite. Head out on the right hand side of the beach and follow the rocks – there is sea life in abundance there.
How to get there:
Bus: The buses that run closest to the beach are the 324 and 325. As with all the buses, see the website for timetable information.
Car: From the city head out along New South Head Road, left onto Old South Head Road, right onto Robertson Place, then left onto Military Road, left onto Short St, right onto Cove St, right onto Victoria St. right again onto Cliff St, and into the carpark.
